Morocco’s second-biggest telecoms operator Meditel said on Wednesday its net profit soared 91 percent to 270 million dirhams ($33.63 million) for the third quarter of this year versus the same period last year.
Revenue rose 11 percent to 4.2 billion dirhams while earnings before interest, tax and amortisation (EBITA) expanded by 9 percent to 1.6 billion, boosted by Internet and corporate data business segments which grew 77 percent and 16 percent respectively.
