$20 billion investment: Morocco-UAE trade reached over $237 million

Trade between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased from $152 million in 2006 to over $237 million in 2009, Morocco’s ambassador to UAE told Emirati Press.
This increase is ascribed to the implementation of the 2001 Morocco-UAE Free Trade Agreement, which resulted in 45.6% rise in Moroccan exports to the UAE, compared to 2008, Abdelkader Zaoui told Emirati newspaper “Al Bayan”.
